PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.
Warranty & Return Policies
Installation:
We recommend and strongly encourage you to have the equipment or system installed by a knowledgeable professional. Regardless of who installs your equipment it must be charged and started by a licensed company or individual. All installations must conform to local codes, state codes and EPA regulations governing handling of refrigerant. Housh Inc. & DiscountHumidifiers.com assume no liability associated with installation of your equipment.
Warranty:
All manufacturer's warranties apply based on brand and equipment. Certain equipment manufacturers clearly state that there is no warranty on their equipment unless it is installed by a licensed, training HVAC professional. Housh Inc. & DiscountHumidifiers.com offer no labor or parts warranty, as we are not installing your equipment. Your local installing contractor should supply you a labor warranty. Your local installing contractor can replace any parts under warranty.
Returned Products:
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience and your new products! If, however, the items you purchased are not exactly what you expected, you may return them within 30 days of purchase. If you wish to return an item within 30 days of your purchase, you may do so and receive a refund according to the terms listed below, or a credit toward the purchase of another item. All returned merchandise must be unused in original condition and original packaging. There is no return credit for shipping charges.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us by email at Support@DiscountHumidifiers.com. Please provide us your first and last name, order number, a description of the item you wish to return and the reason for the return. If approved, you will receive an RMA number that must be written on the return shipping label. Return shipments should be directed to the following address:

Please insure and track any returned packages. Credits will be issued when we receive and examine the returned items. Unauthorized returns or items returned used, damaged, or not in their original condition and packaging may result in a delayed credit, partial credit or refusal of the returned items as listed in the details below.
Cancellation - If you place an order and cancel it prior to equipment being
shipped, we will refund your purchase price less a 6% processing, palletizing,
and restocking fee in the same method which payment was made.
Important: All returns are carefully inspected upon receipt.
Refunds are administered based on the condition of the returned items.
Products must be in the original packaging and must not have been installed.
Please note that refunds are made as follows:
If freight is being returned after it has been received by customer, customer
will be responsible for any damage to freight at cost.
* Variable or No Refund - Open box, items missing, damaged, dirty, bent
or not working or item appears to have been installed. Housh Inc. & DiscountHumidifiers.com reserve the sole right to determine, at their discretion, the fair refund amount based on the condition of the item being returned.
There is no return on special order items.
DiscountHumidifiers.com will be as fair as possible in determining variable refunds.
If, though, the refund amount isn't acceptable to you, you have the option
to pay a shipping charge and have the item sent back to you.
If you are returning a product because we made an error in your order, we will promptly
send you the correct item at no additional cost, and we will schedule
and pay for return shipping.
Deliveries refused for reasons other than shipping damage will be handled
the same as a return. Equipment returns including furnaces, air handlers,
condensing units and heat pumps will be charged shipping fees to and from
your location.
For all other returns, original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable.
It is strongly recommended that you insure returned items. You are responsible
for filing a shipping claim should a return item be lost or damaged in
transit. We suggest using a "traceable carrier" that can provide
you with tracking services and proof of delivery.
Shipping Policy
By purchasing air conditioning equipment from DiscountHumidifiers.com you
are acting as your own contractor and as such, will need to receive and
inspect the equipment personally. Open all boxes on arrival to inspect
for shipping damage.
In the case of minor cosmetic damage; Note damage on the shipping invoice
and ask for a damage claim. Since every equipment order that we ship includes basic shipping insurance, you have the option of filing a claim with the shipping company and receive payment for damages.
YOU ARE NOT LIABLE TO SIGN FOR ANY DAMAGED FREIGHT FROM THE SHIPPER, HOWEVER
ANY EQUIPMENT YOU SIGN FOR DOES BECOME YOUR PROPERTY.
Any returns made after customer signs for order will be arranged at DiscountHumidifiers.com Discretion.
Signing for the shipment states that you are receiving the equipment in
good order and it does become your property.
PLEASE INSPECT YOUR EQUIPMENT CAREFULLY
THIS MEANS REMOVING ALL BOX COVERS AND INSPECTING FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT
MAY HAVE OCCURED DURING SHIPPING.
Any Returns made after customer signs for equipment must be set up
with DiscountHumidifiers.com. A return authorization number must be obtained from DiscountHumidifiers.com
prior to return of any equipment as described above.
If DiscountHumidifiers.com arranges shipment, customer must use the bill of
lading provided by DiscountHumidifiers.com or the customer will be liable for
any charges incurred as a result of setting up freight without consent
of DiscountHumidifiers.com
We will work with our customers to insure they are happy with their equipment.
EPA Regulations
Important Notice - Purchaser hereby acknowledges that federal law prohibits
opening the refrigeration lines of any equipment purchase. A properly
licensed person must handle the refrigerant contained in any unit/system.
Purchaser hereby assumes full responsibility for the safe and proper installation
in accordance with applicable local code requirements.
